HiQ® is a brand and registered trademark in its own right. HiQ represents the full range of Specialty Gases, Specialty Equipment and related services from The Linde Group worldwide. There are many specific product and service trade-marks within the HiQ family that represent some of our most unique signature products. Many of them are Exclusively HiQ, some others are also available with other ranges of Linde technical gases and services.
HiQ Gases - Exclusively HiQ - Specialty Gases
This is signature product range from HiQ with a distinguished track record of innovation and several decades of industry leadership. SPECTRA-SEAL leverages technology that has been perfected over a 30 year period and guarantees the long term accuracy, reliability and stability of ppb and ppm component level reactive gas mixtures and backs up this stability promise with a five year shelf life guarantee. SPECTRA-SEAL gas mixture components include moisture, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, carbonyl sulphide, methyl mercaptan, sulphur dioxide, nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide. Given the nature of these gas mixtures, SPECTRA-SEAL products are always supplied in premium quality aluminium cylinders. For other guaranteed stability mixtures, HiQ 60 also offers 60 months, or 5 years, shelf life for percentage level components and general gas mixtures with inert or flammable components.
The 60 here refers to 60 months guaranteed stability for gas mixtures and high purity gases. 60 months also means 5 years - exactly the same shelf life as SPECTRA-SEAL. The HiQ 60 product range extends the SPECTRA-SEAL stability guarantee beyond low level reactive gases in aluminium cylinders to the full range of inert and flammable gas components in mixtures at higher percentage level concentrations and also includes high purity gases.
The range of SPECTRA products is a fascinating mix of rare gases, rare gas mixtures and calibration gas mixtures for a wide range of high-tech applications. Products such as high purity Xenon for use in satellite propulsion in outer space, mixtures of Neon and Fluorine for Excimer lasers used for vision correction eye surgery and environmental protocol calibration gas mixtures with 64 VOC components present at only 10 ppb in the same cylinder are examples of these highly specialised products within the HiQ family.
A complete range of products and services specifically tailored to the laser market, ensuring maximum productivity and financial return from laser investments. This range combines high purity gases, gas mixtures and gas control equipment that are key to success in achieving maximum laser reliability, high beam power and stable energy distribution. Moreover, LASERLINE products protect the laser resonator optics from damage, enhancing the life span of the components and reducing maintenance costs. LASERLINE unites Linde skills and expertise to set new standards in the field of fully integrated laser solutions. The spectrum of services extends from gas selection and delivery, through gas storage, distribution equipment and supply technology, to all-round technical support for laser applications.
This product range brings a very high level of security and peace of mind to the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. It covers a range of traceable pharmaceutical grade gases for production of pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients. VERISEQ high purity gases are available in cylinders or as bulk liquified gases and are supplied either with a certificate of conformity or an individual certificate of analysis to the specification laid out in the relevant Pharmacopoeia.
MAP stands for Modified Atmosphere Packaging and MAPAX is the Linde range of gas mixtures for this food processing application. MAP significantly extends shelf life and therefore enhances the environmental sustainability of our food supply chain. It also has the benefits of preserving the original food taste, texture and appearance during the full shelf life. The range of MAPAX gas mixtures is tailored to the preservation needs of various different food types, for example: nuts, meats, vegetables and cheeses.
